Liz is alive! *ahem* To those that were wondering.....

So, so busy! I was gone all summer to do research, and now I'm back and I have to apply to colleges. @.@ Senior year is soooo hard!

Art-wise, I am taking AP Art. Everything was peachy for most of the semester. My art teacher had even told me I could try majoring in anime! And then....she's fired. GRRRRR!!! I'm SO MAD! *could go on for hours*

So I'm completely lost and confused as to what I should be doing. They keep giving us subs. Anyone taking AP and can give me advice?

Different note: I'm an old-timer. Or, at least my monitor is. I have one of those tv-screen monitors, tube and everything. But I love my monitor. Everything looks fine, ad I can appreciate the web in its full-colored glory.

Little did I know my art would suffer! I just submitted a piece, Denpa Damsel, that nearly killed my eyes because I was trying to VERY SUBTLEY use the black spectrum to hide the boundary between Hana and her background. I was quite proud of it.

Then, I go to my dad's office and look at it on his fancy plasma monitor. I scream, "That's not my piece!" It was nothing like I had intentioned it to look. You could obviously tell where Hana ended and the background started, and the background looked awful (in my opinion).

So, what are the implications? I can't do anything dark? I have to give up on trying to match my colors to exactly what I want them to be? Because, over half the people on the internet probably have plasmas! And it's growing!

I have no idea..... *sad face*
